About Brasstown
Brasstown Bald is Georgia's highest point, a place where the view stretches in every direction. We bear its name because that's what we bring to organizations: a higher vantage point and expansive views of how people experience technology at work. That perspective helps us see solutions that others miss. We're the people who figure out why technology is making your team anxious instead of excited and how to build real digital confidence. We're the people who turn 'nobody wants to use this' into 'we can't imagine working without it.'
Our Founder
Brasstown Consulting Group was founded by Cheri L. Kittrell, Ph.D., who has spent more than 30 years watching capable people struggle with the technology that was meant to help them. With expertise in psychology, digital learning, and how people communicate at work, she recognized that the main challenge lies in the mismatch between how tools are built and how humans actually think and behave.Today, her work focuses on closing that gap. She helps organizations design experiences that actually make sense to the people using them.
If technology is causing more problems than it is solving in your organization, let's talk.
What we offer
From AI literacy to digital wellbeing, we build skills that stick. Our services are designed to reduce digital friction and build confidence across your organization.
Assessments & Strategy
Struggling with tools that don't fit?We figure out what's actually going wrong and create a clear action plan--whether you are deciding what AI tools make sense for your business or wondering why that expensive software is sitting unused.
Training & Seminars
Team intimidated by new tech? Our workshops focus on the human side of technology and help people (at all levels) understand what AI can really do, manage digital stress, and build skills they'll actually use. No death-by-PowerPoint, just practical confidence-building.
Workforce & Community Partnerships
Tired of digital skills programs that don't translate to real jobs?We partner with workforce boards, nonprofits, and agencies to design training that builds confidence, not just compliance. Whether it's grant-funded AI literacy or helping people overcome tech anxiety, we focus on what actually helps people succeed.
Product Impact & Human Factors
Need truly intuitive products for your users? We help product teams understand the difference between 'It works' and 'People love it!' Before you launch, we figure out how real humans will actually interact with your tool—so you can design something people embrace instead of endure.
Ready to move forward, but not sure where to start? You're not alone. We work with everyone, from solo business owners figuring out their first AI tool to large organizations preparing their entire workforce for digital change.Let's talk through your goals and build a clear plan together.
